the red bag comes a long way. from its humble beginnings on a greek island. becoming an icon, with a hollywood cultstatus. touring major cities of the world. going thru many hands. giving energy, receiving energy, projecting energy.
like a mask, that transports the culture of its maker, the dancer and the rituals of the people in whose life it plays a central part.
havana , the city of rythm.
the red bag joining and reveling in the dance that keeps havana awake, beyond the hours and alive in people's minds around the world.
driven by cars, that show the faces of time. shown in the faces of buildings, that have seen many times. walked by people, who see the city as their stage to the world.

tonART is the stage for the world premiere of the HAVANA MASK DANCE.

hans fleischner
geboren in Wien, studierte hier Fotografie in den späten 60er-Jahren. Nach Abschluß seiner Ausbildung führte es ihn zuerst in die U.S.A, wo er mehrere Jahre arbeitete und lebte. Danach zog es ihn auf die andere Seite des Erdballs nach Asien. Hier lebte er über 20 Jahre, wobei er sein Know-how in den Bereichen Fotografie und Film noch weiter ausbaute. Sein Hauptquartier war Tokio, aber seine Jobs führten ihn unter anderem auch nach Bali, Indien und auf die Philippinen. Nach der Rückkehr in seine Heimatstadt Wien in den späten 90er-Jahren konzentrierte er sich auf seine künstlerischen Projekte.
